Happy Tuesday Beautiful People !!
I hope your week has started off with so much love & so much peace. I just took a quick look at the calendar & my jaw fully dropped… I cannot believe my first missionary trip takes off in 66 days !!! Man, God really does work in His timing & not our own. I’ve definitely had to apply this fact to my day to day life, especially when it comes to the plans that He has lined up for me.
Back in January, I knew the Lord was calling onto me to stand firm & stay ready… I would reply to Him out loud saying, “I am, Lord. I am ready for whatever You have for me. Wherever You need me to go. Whatever You need me to do. I am ready.” Now, long story short, when the World Race was presented to me in His timing & in His way… I was overwhelmed with so much peace, but not so much understanding. I started to question saying, “Is this really the time?” “Right now?!” “But Jesus, what about this & this?” “What if I’m not ready?” “Why have You chosen me?” At this moment, I was reminded of what He had said to Moses in Exodus 4, “Who has made man’s mouth? Who makes him mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall speak.”
It isn’t so much as feeling qualified or feeling ready, it’s allowing Him to help you get ready for what’s to come. He has been in every step of the way of your life, it just takes the faith of believing what He has for you is bigger than yourself & too much for you to carry alone. Take onto His hand & allow Him to guide you through the storm, there will always be light on the other side. I am forever grateful for His love, in what ways has He shown His love for you?
